Provide grants to help with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment.

A non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures and saving pets with cancer and other life-threatening conditions. Qualifying families are responsible for a portion of the treatment costs for their pets. The veterinary hospitals at which the pets are treated also assist by giving discounts.

Grant program helps animals who need urgent and emergency veterinary care.

The typical grant is around $200, and is intended to fill a small gap in funding that is keeping an animal from care. Decisions are based upon several factors, including: medical urgency, financial need, available funding, and eligibility. Pet owner’s veterinarian must be the one in contact with the foundation.

They work directly with veterinarians who have identified seniors that qualify for assistance, allowing for a non-biased and objective evaluation of each case.

Funds within the Renton Community Foundation, a 501(C)3, non-profit organization in the State of Washington. Their goal is to help low income seniors within the Puget Sound community whose pets need emergency veterinary care which may include medications, surgical procedures and euthanasia.
The animal MUST be seen and diagnosed by a vet, and a high-low estimate of cost of care is also required at the time of inquiry.

F3 provides support for people who may need assistance to care for their companion animals.

We also act as a resource to our Greater West Seattle, South Park, White Center, and Boulevard Park neighbors. Our focus is always helping improve the human/animal bond, which is critical in keeping animals with their people.

Offers families in temporary financial crisis an alternative to euthanasia when their pet is diagnosed with a treatable, but life threatening condition or illness.

Programs are designed to help families provide life sustaining medications, major medical, and emergency vet care during a temporary financial crisis. Providing guidance and referral to lower cost and alternative treatment options, by allowing pet owners to purchase medications at deep discounts through our pharmaceutical suppliers and by paying the difference between the amount charged by the vet and the amount the family can afford.

Provides life-saving pet food and veterinary care, emergency boarding and foster care to pets whose caretakers are struggling with financial hardship.

The long-term vision of STARelief and Pet Assistance is to ensure that no person will ever have to surrender their pet due to financial hardship, and to ensure that all companion animals are treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

The Onyx & Breezy Foundation

Funding and support for pets of individuals where medical hardship is present.

Also assists with: spay and neuter programs, rescue of animals from kill shelters, food, medicine and supplies, cancer research, medicine and equipment for military and police canines, equipment for medical facilities, puppy mill rescues and disaster relief, shelters, rescues, foster groups and sanctuaries, helping the dogs of veterans suffering from PTSD, and other endeavors that benefit the welfare of animals.

Paws 4 A Cure

Provides financial assistance throughout the US to those who cannot afford vet care for their beloved furry family members. IF APPROVED they will need an invoice from your vet and they will mail a check within 30 days.

Helps dogs and cats with all illnesses and injuries but does not include regular vaccinations and spay/neuter. They do not discriminate against breed, age, or diagnosis.

*Note that this organization also requires you to apply for OTHER grants alongside this and to provide them with the names of the organizations to which you have also applied to.

The Mosby Foundation – Dogs Only – Non Emergency

Assists in the care of critically sick, injured, abused and neglected dogs through financial support and public education.

Only assists animals that have been spayed/neutered. Cannot assist with diagnostics or core vet care (vaccines, spay/neuter.) One-time assistance program. 

The Pet Fund

They are not equipped to handle requests for EMERGENCY care.

Assists owners in covering medical costs beyond the normal expenses of vaccination, spay and neuter surgeries, food and routine veterinary care.
